The Underwood Ammo 10mm Handgun Ammo - 115 Grain | Xtreme Defender is a high-performance ammunition designed for optimal penetration and expansion. Based on the popular Xtreme Penetrator product line, this round offers superior performance and reliability.

One of the key features of the XD ammunition is its optimized nose flute, total weight, and velocity, which allows for a penetration depth of up to 18 inches*. This results in a permanent wound cavity (PWC) that is significantly larger than any other expanding bullet on the market. Even when shot through barriers such as wallboard, sheet metal, or automotive glass, the solid copper body ensures that the Permanent Wound Channel remains unaffected.

In addition to its exceptional penetration capabilities, the Xtreme Defender also boasts reduced recoil, making it easier to handle and shoot accurately. The bullet is CNC machined from solid copper to overcome barriers to penetration, while the radial flutes force hydraulic energy inward to build pressure. The minimal surface area and sharp cutting edges of the bullet enhance the force at the point of contact with the target, effectively defeating barriers.

The nickel plated casings of the Xtreme Defender ammo offer several key benefits. They provide improved feeding in all firearms, enhanced corrosion resistance over traditional brass casings, improved aesthetics, and ease of cleanup during reloading.
