Whether your gas mask has endured years of storage or is actively used, it is crucial to replace certain parts at specific intervals to minimize the risk of unexpected exposure. For masks in storage, wear parts should be replaced every five years, while masks in active use may require more frequent replacements.

Compatible with the CM-6M (all variants), CM-7M, CM-8M, and TAPR gas masks, the Essentials Gas Mask Replacement Parts Kit provides the necessary components for optimum functionality. This kit includes four inner mask valves that are intended to be installed on the oro-nasal cup, preventing fogging and redirecting the flow of CO2. In addition, it includes an exhalation valve that expands upon exhalation, maintaining a reliable seal and protecting you from hazardous environments.

To safeguard the exhalation valve, the kit offers an exhalation valve cover that fits securely over the port. If any signs of damage or misplacement are noticed, it is essential to replace it immediately. Moreover, a 40 mm plug is included, allowing for a lighter gas mask setup by using a single filter and reducing weight while maneuvering.

The Deluxe Kit takes comprehensive care of your gas mask, featuring all the components from the Essentials Kit and an additional replacement head harness. As the head harness should be replaced every ten years or when signs of damage or stretching occur, this kit ensures the longevity of your gas mask and its comfortable fit.

Please note that the head harness differs between the CM-6M and CM-7M, prompting the need to select the correct Deluxe Kit for your specific model. Furthermore, these replacement parts are not compatible with smaller gas masks designed for children.

While installation of the replacement parts is straightforward, we strongly recommend having them installed by a professional respirator service center to guarantee proper sealing after service. These service centers employ a negative pressure fit tester to validate the absence of leaks following part replacements.
