Please note that the ALFA Lower Forend option for $119 only includes the lower portion. The upper handguard is not included in this option. Additionally, the MA-11275 ALFA Handguard is specifically designed to fit standard stamped 'Euro' and 'Chinese' AK's. It will not fit Yugo M-70/N-PAP/O-PAP, Krinkovs, M92's, unconverted Vepr's, or unconverted Saigas.

Installation is a breeze, as this forend simply installs like any standard AK handguard and is held in place by the front handguard retainer. The precise and tight fit, combined with careful design of the interface points with the weapon, ensures a rock-solid mounting.

Weighing in at only 3.5 ounces, the ALPHA AK Rail is almost an ounce lighter than the original polymer forend, yet several times stronger. It is manufactured from solid billets of 6061 T6 aluminum and anodized black for durability and a sleek look.

For those who prefer optics, there is an optional Superlow Optics Mount Upper available, weighing only 2 ounces. This allows you to mount an Aimpoint Micro on its picatinny top rail and have co-witness with the iron sights. The ALPHA Rail lower forend is compatible with the standard polymer or wood upper handguard, as well as with an Ultimak railed upper gas tube, providing versatility in customization.
