The Faxon Firearms 5.56/300 BLK Gunner Light Weight Bolt Carrier Group - Chameleon PVD is a high-quality bolt carrier group designed for optimal performance. We have carefully selected the QPQ method of Salt Bath Nitride coating for all the components of the carrier, ensuring increased slickness and reduced friction. This means that less gas and pressure are required for operation, resulting in improved efficiency.

In addition to the QPQ SBN process, we have used 9310 tool steel for the bolt, which is not only stronger but also nitrided to increase surface hardness, decrease resistance, and provide superior corrosion resistance compared to typical chrome and phosphated bolt carrier groups. Rest assured, all bolts are fully MPI tested to ensure the material is sound and defect-free.

To ensure reliable action, the bolt lugs are chamfered 45 degrees, which is especially beneficial for high-pressure hand loads and fast lightweight actions. We have also Superfinished the Bolt Carrier Groups to reduce friction, increase smoothness of operation, and reduce fouling.

Our Bolt Carrier Groups are full-auto rated and compatible with full-auto fire control groups and new multi-stage trigger systems. The gas keys are made with grade 8 fasteners and are fully staked for a lifetime of service. To show our confidence in the product, all carriers are laser-engraved with the Faxon Shield after passing our rigorous quality inspections.

Please note that we recommend the use of an adjustable gas block with our Gunner lightweight Bolt Carrier Group for proper function.
