The primary purpose of the Thorax Triple Rifle Mag Placard is to provide a lightweight and streamlined solution for carrying and accessing rifle magazines. It is designed to be used with the Thorax Plate Carrier or can be used as a standalone TRMP Chest Rig.

The placard is equipped with our proprietary MP2 inserts, offering secure retention for most commonly used rifle magazines including 5.56x45", 5.45x39", 7.62x39", and 7.62x51". Unlike traditional placards that require bungies or flaps, the MP2 inserts feature a positive click-in mechanism, ensuring a smooth draw without sacrificing the ability to quickly reindex partially used magazines during tactical reloads.

One of the key features of this product is its versatility. The MP2 inserts are removable, allowing operators to utilize the enclosed space for other essential equipment such as radios, laser range finders, or medical kits. Additionally, the placard includes three woven elastic pouches on the front, offering secure storage for additional magazines or other essential items like tourniquets, shock tubes, charges, maps, compasses, and chemlights.
